Amy LaBossiere is a holistic health counselor, retreat center partner, marketing consultant and mixed media artist, known as the original Glueist.
Amy is an award-winning outsider artist, meaning that she has not had formal training in visual art. Her artwork is intuitive and arises from within. Amy has exhibited works in juried shows and contributed to charitable art events. Her art has been shown throughout the tri-state area.
Amy also has more than 20 years of communications experience, driving marketing strategies, creative and strategic planning sessions and developing marketing plans for various firms during her career. She also handles publicity and marketing for artists and art shows. Amy is self-employed as a marketing consultant and works as a atrategic advisor for O'Brien Communications Group.

Amy has acted in many independent and student films, as well as done voiceover work for a variety of professional television and radio spots, acted in diversity training videos and interactive presentations. Several years ago, she landed a lead role for an episode of ‘Astonishing News’ for Japanese television.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Communication Arts, with a specialization in Public Relations from Long Island University/C.W. Post campus, and a Master of Arts in Conscious Evolution from The Graduate Institute. Amy is co-producer of [un+art], the largest unjuried, uncensored annual art exhibit at Hartford ArtSpace. She is currently training with The Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
Amy is the elected Marketing chair of Connecticut Women Artists, Inc. She also holds a position on Hartford's Commission of Cultural Affairs.
Amy is also partner at Still Waters, an emerging retreat center.
